Heartland Eyecare is a private optometry practice owned by Dr. Robert Felker.  We specialize in affordable eye care for the entire family including comprehensive eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses.

Robert S. Felker O.D. – Optometrist

Dr. Felker grew up in Chaffee, Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri and attended optometry school at the Illinois College of Optometry.  Dr. Felker has been providing vision care in southeast Missouri for over 30 years and seeks to provide clear, comfortable vision at a reasonable cost.

Dr. Felker is board certified in optometric care with an emphasis in glaucoma. His specialty is soft contact lenses for the correction of astigmatism. He is a member of the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce and enjoys caring for patients throughout the heartland.

Dr. Felker and his wife have two children and one grandchild.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working on the farm,  freelance writing, playing guitar, and restoring and racing automobiles.

Ronda Mayes – Office Manager

Ronda is available to assist patients with frame selection, scheduling, payments, and insurance paperwork.  She can also help patients with ordering custom frames and contact lenses. Ronda and her husband live in Sikeston.  She is the proud mother of two sons and enjoys baseball, trivia, cooking, and movies.
